Hiking in a natural paradise

The Rostock Heath offers excellent hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity of Warnemünde. Numerous varied hiking trails lead through the former hunting grounds. The Baltic Sea coastal cycle path, which leads from Hohe Düne to Graal-Müritz, is also particularly scenic. The Baltic seaside resort of Graal-Müritz is always worth a detour. Other popular destinations in the Rostock Heath are the Gelbensande hunting lodge and the Radelsee lake.

Culinary delights are also a must during a hike on the heath. The Schnatermann restaurant is particularly popular and can be easily reached on foot or by bike. Another recommended restaurant in the middle of the Rostock Heath is Meyers Hausstelle, where you can enjoy food and drink in a cosy atmosphere in the restaurant or beer garden after a hike.
