The Neptun Fountain

It is a fountain from Warnemünde for Warnemünde.

With these words, the sculptor and Rostock native Thomas Jastram inaugurated the new water feature on the church forecourt in 2022, giving Warnemünde another landmark.

The Neptune Fountain has truly become an eye-catcher and invites children to play and tourists and Warnemünde residents to linger and take photos.

The fountain is unique just like Warnemünde because in addition to the three water nymphs you can find the tricorn, a net, a fish and empty sandals of the sea god. There are already some myths about where Neptune is. We won't give anything away ... but take a look in our NEPTUN SPA.

According to the artist, the god of the sea remains invisible at the fountain because the workplace is logically below the surface of the water. This allows everyone to step into Neptune's sandals. Have fun discovering!
